Join our Network

Emerge Maine was founded in 2006 with a vision of electing women, one that is more relevant now than it was when we began.

Join our movement to help us train even more democratic women to run - and win!

Apply to the Program

The Emerge Program is the premier training program for Democratic women. We inspire women to run and we hone their skills to win. Our goal is clear: to increase the number of Democratic women in public office. A reason is not an excuse. We all know there are plenty of reasons to avoid running for public office. But it is up to YOU to lead the way and start taking real steps towards progress. A pool of highly qualified Democratic candidates is being left untapped. Too often, women do not see themselves running for office - they don't think they are experienced enough or they just don't know where to start.

Apply to Emerge today and let us train you to win!

Support our Work

Emerge Maine is committed to changing the headlines by changing who is in office.  We need to continue to fill the pipeline with women trained to run and lead on the issues that matter to us as Democrats.  With your support, we can train more Democratic women to run and win elections at all levels of government, across the country.  Will you help us "Build the Bench" with a contribution today?
